There will be two Lent Courses in the town.

On Sunday evenings, starting on 21st February in St James' Church, there will be an evening service and study course, from 6.30 to 8pm; based on "The Things He Said", by the Bishop of Reading, on the words of Jesus on the first Easter Day.

On Thursday evenings, the 7.30pm weekly Bible study group led by the Salvation Army, will follow the York course, centred on the Cross. This will start on Thursday 25th February at 7.30pm, at No 1 Florence Cottages, Brightlingsea.  The course book will cost £3.00.

There will also be meditations on the Stations of the Cross on Wednesday evenings in Lent at 7.30pm in St James' Church.
